(August 11, 2018, 8:22 am)Sankofa House is a wonderful resource in our community. I went there on my own to take court-appointed parenting classes when my 3 children were removed by DCFS illegally from my home. The Teachers were very helpful and kind and the classes were offered free of charge. I used the computers there to work on my resume and I looked for jobs there. The building is a gem because it's dedicated to housing grandparents that have custody of their grandchildren.
